An expert in digital media and entertainment law, Mr. Kent Wakeford currently serves as an independent Legal and Business Advisor. Maintaining a wide variety of clients, Kent Wakeford has worked with the likes of MySpace and Bebo, as well as a widget and viral syndication company and an e-commerce and video production company. Focusing on building partnerships for his clients, Kent Wakeford covers areas such as online marketing relationships, advertising sales agreements, widget platform agreements, online ticketing sales, ad network agreements, and affiliate agreements. Prior to striking out on his own as an independent consultant, Kent Wakeford served as the Senior Vice President of Business and Legal Affairs and General Council of Clearspring Technologies, Inc. An experienced leader, Kent Wakeford facilitated the development of business relationships with over 200 companies across a variety of sectors, including media, sports, and Internet. Kent Wakeford also served as the President of The Enthusiast Network, where he utilized all of his skills to lead a team of over 22 employees. After two years in this role, Kent Wakeford led the company to a cash flow positive position, increasing unique visitors to over 900,000 per month. Kent Wakeford also held positions as Vice President of American Online and Attorney at O’Melveny & Myers. Kent Wakeford earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Southern California Law School. A dedicated student, Kent Wakeford was honored for his expertise with the Norma Zarsky Memorial Award. Kent Wakeford also received the Gerald G. and Sally D. Kelly Award. When he is not working, Kent Wakeford can be found leading the development of charitable initiatives. The former President of both Care for the Homeless and Susan’s Place, Kent Wakeford was instrumental in providing a number of services for the homeless.
